There are several options for fall and winter, Mums, evergreens, holly and berries can adorn your boxes throughout the colder seasons. Plants in containers dry out much quicker than if they were in the ground. Most flowers can fail in containers mainly due to lack of water! Don't be afraid to water more frequently. Over watering is not harmful as the excess water drains off through the drainage holes in your boxes. Lastly fertilize about twice a month. This will help you to reap the most rewards from your box gardens. Incorporating certain herbs will deter flies and mosquitos from your home or boxed veggie gardens, as well as look and smell wonderful! |

We are very excited to announce that new designs are coming. Similar to the Starfish boxes, we are adding "Seashells", "Oars" and "Adirondack" to our designs. Pictures to come soon! Our plan with these is that you can have your box(es) with all panels the same, or you can have a nautical themed box with each side panel being a different design (starfish, seashell, oars, adirondack chair) - at no charge. =) Also, we are working on a sailboat to come in the future...the others will be rolled out very soon. Create your festive 4th of July flower boxes and planters with small or medium US Flags, firework chandeliers, stars and banners! Most of these can be found at any local hardware and party supply store. Store them away to decorate again next year! Keep it as simple or busy as you like! Don't forget the red, white and blue flowers!   |

How are your wooden boxes holding up after all the rain and humidity? Wood is rotting and paint is fading. PVC boxes would be looking as fresh as the day you installed them! |
