Here is my question. On a 34 ft high colonial by the sea do you put flower boxes on all of the front windows or simply the street level? What is proper

Hi Ldm080463,

Thank you for writing.

There is no "proper" or "inproper" right or wrong here, it's really up to you and your outdoor decor or style.

If there's already a lot on the outside of your home, you may want to box the lower level only to avoid an overly busy appearance. If the outside of your home is simple, having box gardens on both levels will enhance the homefront's appearance and curb appeal and draw attention up as well.

The other element to consider is the work you want to put into the boxes (planting, watering, pruning, etc.)

We have homeowners and businesses (condos, logdes, inns) who have boxed just lower level windows and those who have boxed both levels. Our Customers who sent pictures come from various home types.

I hope this helps. Thank you again.
